The INVISIO® X50 is an advanced tactical communications control unit that combines hearing protection, natural ambient hearing (Talk-Through), and simultaneous management of two communication devices. Powered by an intelligent electronic architecture featuring high-performance microprocessors and state-of-the-art digital signal processors (DSPs), the X50 enables independent control of both ambient audio and communication volume, ensuring optimal situational awareness in operational environments.

Advanced Communications Management

Automatic device detection enables hot-swapping of connected radios or intercom systems without interrupting communications or degrading situational awareness. The X50 supports both half-duplex radio communications and full-duplex vehicle intercom systems, allowing seamless integration across diverse mission profiles.

All connectors, switches, and interfaces are fully sealed for harsh operational environments, providing IP68 environmental protection with submersion capability to 2 meters for up to 2 hours, while meeting or exceeding applicable military environmental specifications.

INVISIO X5 Tactical In-Ear Headset

The INVISIO X50 comes with the INVISIO X5 tactical in-ear headset, incorporating the patented Bone Conduction Microphone (BCM) technology.

Unlike conventional tactical headsets, the X5 does not rely on an exposed boom microphone. Instead, the BCM captures vibrations transmitted through the user's jawbone, converting them into exceptionally clear speech while effectively eliminating surrounding environmental noise. This architecture enables reliable voice communications in extremely high-noise environments where traditional microphones are often compromised.

The X50 control unit is also compatible with additional INVISIO headset models, including the M3, T5, and T7, as well as selected third-party tactical headsets, including 3M™ PELTOR™ COMTAC™, when used with the appropriate interface adapter.

INVISIO® X50 Dual Communications Control Unit

The INVISIO X50 is designed to manage up to two independent communication systems, including tactical radios and vehicle intercom systems.

The unit operates from a single AA battery, providing up to 100 hours of continuous operation. Should the battery become depleted, the system automatically transitions to power supplied by the connected radio, ensuring uninterrupted mission capability.

Its flexible audio routing architecture allows operators to monitor multiple radio networks simultaneously while assigning individual audio channels to dedicated Push-to-Talk (PTT) buttons and directing received audio to the left ear, right ear, or both.

Condition

This equipment is not used but supplied in warehouse storage condition.

To preserve long-term durability during storage, the rubber components of the control unit are coated with a protective layer of talcum powder, consistent with military storage practices used for sensitive rubberized equipment such as protective respirators. The powder can be safely removed prior to use without affecting performance.

The MOLLE pouch may exhibit minor dust accumulation from storage. These cosmetic conditions do not affect the operational performance, reliability, or serviceability of the equipment.
